What is Prophetic Art and How is it Printed?
Ana Méndez Ferrell is one of the most versatile artists with the ability to create from the most exquisite hyper-realism to the full expression of her art in the abstract. People are attracted by the deep meaning of many of her pieces and also by the profound sense of artistic originality and color. All of her work is characterized to reveal life, peace, light, courage and the love and the passion of the artist. According to her critics, these values are transferred wherever this art is exposed. Many wonderful testimonies witness the powerful change of atmosphere that this artwork produces.
High Quality Satin Paper Prints
Our art prints on paper have an attractive border and title plate and are produced using the same long-lasting inks as those used for printing fine art giclées on canvas and watercolor paper. Our paper giclée prints are printed on a high quality satin finish photographic material, offering superior color and clarity, and should remain vibrant for generations of enjoyment. As with any artwork, care should taken to protect prints from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, and to avoid rough handling which could scratch or mar the image surface.
Canvas
Art reproductions on canvas are produced using archival inks and printed on archival material. Canvas art prints are coated with a UV protectant to provide additional longevity to the surface and should remain vibrant for generations of enjoyment. As with any artwork, care should taken to protect prints from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, and to avoid rough handling which could scratch or mar the image surface.
Watercolor
Art reproductions on watercolor paper are produced using archival inks and printed on Hahnemuhle’s William Turner textured art paper. Watercolor art prints are coated with a UV protectant to provide additional longevity to the surface and should remain vibrant for generations of enjoyment. As with any artwork, care should taken to protect prints from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture, and to avoid rough handling which could scratch or mar the image surface.
Giclée means “to spray, a spurt of liquid” and is derived from the French verb “gicler” meaning to squirt. Giclée printing is a method of reproducing exact copies of original works of art and reproducing them digitally via inkjet printing. Our giclée digital fine-art printing is an exact copy of an original work of art produced by the artist and has all of the tones and hues of the original work of art.
Giclée images are generated from high resolution digital images and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The Giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction and is a quality of print that is commonly found in museums, art galleries and photographic galleries.
All true art is directly inspired by the source to “what” or “whom” the artist is in connection. Art is the expression of the soul that tries to bring forth its inner being. Every piece of art carries with it a certain measure of the spirit, the mind and the heart of its creator. Having this understanding has produced within Ana the responsibility to create art that will build people up, and that by beholding her art work people will receive a positive and powerful influence that will eventually transform the atmosphere everywhere her art work is placed.
Art, not decoration, is the most powerful tool to create an atmosphere. Wherever we place art we will receive the influence created by that work. Some art produces either joy, peace, pleasure, tenderness, exaltation of God’s creation and beauty, love, power, etc., or it produces an environment of conflict, anxiety, and fear. Other genres of art can produce sensuality, intrigue, uneasiness, hunger, violence, wrath, sadness, poverty, etc. True art is not static or dead, it is meant to touch the soul of the beholder in one way or another and to influence the room or environment where it is placed. This is important to understand when we are choosing what we are we going to hang on the walls of our homes, workplaces, and environments.
The word prophetic means inspired by God to deliver a message that will come to pass, or will manifest among those that believe in it and reveal it. Prophetic art is the graphic expression of God’s designs as a message that is written not with words, but in colors, symbols and forms revealed by the Holy Spirit. It is art created by the understanding of God’s designs, His Word, and His Will in the Light of the Bible and of His Spirit.
