The egret is one of the most beautiful and elegant birds. In this graphic, called paradise I wanted to capture a glimpse of the peace, the freedom and purity within the first creation. The position of the birds represents the attitude of prayer that introduces our spirits to that place of divine rest. The first egret bows humbly while the second egret is alert, the necessary expectation one must have to receive the object of our prayer. The silver chain represents the boundary between heaven and earth. Silver, being a symbol of redemption, is what opens up the heavens so the glory and the light from above can be manifested. The flowers around are a symbol of abundance and beauty that cover those whose eyes are focused on things above.
