In this painting we see this girl, a symbol of innocence and purity that portrays the way we should come to God in worship. She is yielding to the Lord her talent, recognizing that he is the only one that should be exalted and not the worshipper. She is in heavenly places as it is written in the Psalm 148:1 “Praise the Lord from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights.” There are spiritual and natural butterflies around her indicating that true worship produces change and metamorphosis in both arenas, as it also transforms the worshipper.
